Bausch & Lomb's history began in 1853 when J.J. Bausch, an immigrant from Germany, opened a small optician's store in Rochester, N.Y. We have since grown tremendously and developed many optometric and optic products based on our outstanding technology. Today, after 150 years in business, we supply contact lenses, ophthalmic pharmaceuticals and ophthalmic surgery equipment to customers in over 100 countries worldwide.
