Tomey Corporation, formerly Toyo Medical, was founded in 1979, when it split from Menicon Co., Ltd.
It was then renamed as Tomey in 1991 before being given the current name in February 2001.
Under the concept of "providing original products that have excellent functions and efficiency as well as are easy to use, compact and affordable," Tomey Corporation has been working on development since foundation. Many our products such as electrophysiological examination devices, corneal topographers and ultrasonic analysis/diagnosis systems have been well-accepted by specialists.

The company logo consisting of a triangle, a square and a circle denotes a group of people with various individuality and thus have people as the core element.
